Black Flower

Anacoluthon's 'Black Flower' is like a still life, where the natural/artificial collide. The byproduct? A sort of graceful chaos. In it's neutrality, patterns and shadows emerge creating a broken narrative with questions unanswered. The piece is effective in stirring tension - the neutrality juxtaposed with the model's face, which is like a foreign book you want to read, but can't. I love the simplicity, which on second glance, is not so simple. I love it in a fashion context and an art context. Most of all I love the silence it exudes - it's creepy, yet pretty. This is flawless. Just flawless.
